- Quality gate on every frame
IDNexus checks that a live person is in front of the camera, that their face matches their ID, and that the ID is genuine. One API call returns a scored decision you can audit.
Prepaid credits from $0.10 a check. No subscription, and credits never expire.

Put in your own numbers. The calculator compares what verification costs with the losses it could prevent. Nothing is sent anywhere; it runs in your browser.
Illustrative only. It uses the figures you enter, including your own estimate of how much fraud checks will stop.
Create account and test it on real checksVerification fails in predictable ways. IDNexus puts a specific test against each one and returns the evidence, not just a verdict.
All three tiers use the same API and the same result format. One credit is $0.01, credits are prepaid, and they stay in your account until you use them.

Biometric and document data is the most sensitive data you will handle. We hold as little of it as the job allows.
Data in transit uses TLS 1.3, data at rest uses AES-256, passwords use PBKDF2-SHA256 and API keys are stored only as SHA-256 hashes. You are the data controller for what you submit and we act as processor, as set out in the privacy policy.
Practical guides from the engineers who build IDNexus. No jargon you cannot use.
How a system tells a live person from a photo, a replayed video or a mask, and what to ask any vendor before you trust it.
A minimal-data design that still gives you an audit trail and keeps you on the right side of the NDPA.
Per-check price is the wrong number. Here is the one that matters, and how to work it out.
Basic costs 10 credits ($0.10), Standard 50 credits ($0.50) and Enterprise 100 credits ($1.00) per call. One credit is $0.01. Credits are prepaid and do not expire. BVN, NIN and phone lookups are priced separately and published on the identity pricing endpoint.
No. Selfie frames, facial embeddings and document images are processed in memory and deleted as soon as the check finishes. We keep the result (decision, scores, confidence) for seven years for audit, and identity numbers only as hashes.
Yes. Biometric verification works worldwide. The service is governed by Nigerian law, and BVN, NIN and phone lookups use Nigerian data providers.
API keys require KYC Level 3: a verified phone number, then biometric verification with a government ID and a recent utility bill. Once both are complete, the key button unlocks automatically.
Every result carries scores and a confidence value rather than a bare pass or fail, so you set the threshold that fits your risk. For Standard we suggest a face similarity of 0.68 or higher. No verification method is 100% accurate, which is why the decision includes the evidence behind it.
Credits are non-refundable and non-withdrawable once they appear in your balance. The one exception is reconciliation: if a payment clears at your bank but credits do not arrive within 15 minutes, contact support with the transaction reference and we will credit it or refund it through the original channel.
